About The Position
The Catering person assists in the preparation, tear down, and clean up of all food and service items needed for deliveries and catered events in a timely fashion. This role coordinates set-ups and deliveries, confirms order details and timing, and serves and suggestively sells drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts in an outgoing, friendly manner to ensure a positive experience for guests. The position requires ensuring that catering and delivery orders are accurate and positively representing the Famous Dave's brand. Additional responsibilities include performing side duties such as answering the phone, bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning work stations, rolling silverware, expediting orders, or running food. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
