About The Position

The Catering Service Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and executing a variety of unique catering events, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to budgetary constraints. This role involves managing all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, vendor selection, and event logistics, while maintaining the brand integrity of Wolfgang Puck Catering. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management.
• 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality management environment, preferably catering.
• Strong organization, time management, and team motivation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, sales forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong negotiation skills and business judgment.
• Full working knowledge of BOH operations.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients on event scope, expectations, and budget.
• Planning menus in consultation with clients and chefs.
• Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records.
• Interacting with clients and event staff at all levels.
• Liaising with Sales Catering Managers, Supervising Chefs, and vendors to plan events.
• Assessing contract requirements and ensuring service satisfaction.
• Resolving customer concerns and ensuring timely payment.
• Directing all aspects of the event, including vendor management and quality standards.
