About The Position

The American Airlines Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in downtown Dallas, Texas. The arena serves as the home of the Dallas Stars of the NHL and Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Catering Server to join our Luxury Premium Catering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing prompt and accurate food service while providing a level of hospitality that exceeds guest expectations.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
• Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
• Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meals are delivered to the correct recipients promptly and accurately following all safety guidelines, with special consideration to guest requests.
• Prepare work area before guest arrival, including rolling silverware, plating table and stocking, cleaning, and equipment.
• Demonstrate compliance with all local service laws, as well as company policies and procedures regarding Responsible Alcohol Service.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Anticipate and react accordingly to guest needs, answer questions, and provide suggestions to event attendees.
