Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
  • Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Ability to operate POS Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and verbally acknowledge each guest promptly.
  • Responsible for prompt, efficient, and courteous service of food and beverages to banquet and casino guests in accordance with venue and/or promotion/event standards.
  • Ensure each station is ready for guests' arrival in accordance with Banquet Event Order.
  • Knowledge of all event specification and details in accordance with Banquet Event Order.
  • Complete knowledge of all menu items and how each item is prepared.
  • Monitor guests' needs on a continual basis and ensure all requests are promptly fulfilled.
  • General knowledge of operations at HCPN in order to answer guest inquiries regarding racing, slots, wagering, etc.
  • Keep work area neat and clean in accordance with all PA Department of Health standards.
  • Restock assigned station at end of shift and have ready for start of next shift.
  • Ensure all necessary pre-shift/post-shift side work is completed daily.
  • Attendance at any pre-shift meetings.
  • Participate as a team member with all servers, bartenders, and any other casino personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Responsible for maintaining a regular and consistent attendance record.
