The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating and securing social catering business, with a focus on weddings, celebrations, and milestone events. This role drives food & beverage revenue through proactive sales, relationship building, and a high-touch, personalized client experience.

Requirements

  • 2 – 4+ years of catering, hospitality, or event sales experience (social/wedding experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to convert inquiries into definite bookings
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Proactively solicit and secure social catering business including weddings, showers, and special events
  • Respond to inquiries with urgency and a consultative, client-focused sales approach
  • Conduct site tours, client meetings, and presentations to showcase the property and event spaces
  • Develop customized proposals, contracts, and cost estimates with accuracy and creativity
  • Negotiate pricing and packages while maintaining profitability and value
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, planners, and local vendors
  • Manage all opportunities, bookings, and client communication through Delphi/Salesforce
  • Consistently achieve and exceed catering revenue and F&B goals
