About The Position

The Catering Sales Manager is a pivotal role within our hotel, responsible for driving new catering business through various channels including social, corporate, and SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) accounts. This position requires an outgoing and proactive individual who can create and maintain strong business relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. The Catering Sales Manager will engage with clients to understand their event requirements, including guest counts and venue specifications, and will work closely with the Catering Director to accommodate special requests. In this role, the Catering Sales Manager will also handle the detailed planning and execution of catering services, which includes menu discussions, cost assessments, and the coordination of necessary equipment and settings for events. Maintaining accurate records of catering costs and managing billing processes are essential responsibilities. The manager will also be the point of contact for addressing any issues or complaints related to food and services, ensuring that all client concerns are resolved promptly and effectively. Additionally, the Catering Sales Manager may assist in the scheduling and planning of other event aspects, such as decorations, floral arrangements, photography, music, or entertainment, thereby ensuring a seamless experience for clients. This position is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
