About The Position

Lunds & Byerlys Catering in Saint Louis Park is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $20.50-26.00/hour. We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 8am-4pm. Our Food Catering Production Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as: Preparing/cooking dishes according to recipe specifications Preparing ingredients, and labeling and storing them properly Preparing other catering items like visually appealing platters following specifications Receiving goods following receiving procedures and ensuring accuracy of inventory Following stock rotation guidelines to ensure product is fresh and quality for our clients. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area following proper sanitation guidelines. Following food safety best practices. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Food Safety certification or ability to obtain and maintain
Two years of food preparation experience desired
Team player - steps in to assist when and where as needed
