About The Position

Taher, Inc. delivers high-quality food service and catering solutions in K-12 schools, ensuring fresh, nutritious, and customized dining experiences. We are looking for a K-12 Catering Manager to oversee and grow catering operations at Grandview C4 School District. You will collaborate with the K-12 Chef, Food Service Director, and an Administrative Assistant to execute events of all sizes - game day meals, after-school catering, and high-scale functions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in catering or food service management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and event planning.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute catering events across the district.
• Develop creative menus with the K-12 Chef and Food Service Director.
• Manage logistics, staffing, and inventory while controlling costs.
• Ensure top-tier food quality, presentation, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with school staff and event organizers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong relationships.
