About The Position

Aramark’s Management Accelerator Program (MAP) is designed for recent graduates to fast-track their career into leadership. It is an immersive experience that combines operations and people management with professional development, mentorship, and community building. Participants will have the opportunity to lead a team in their first job out of school, gaining skills, confidence, and experience in a fast-paced, people-first environment. The program allows individuals to chart their own course to leadership, whether by staying in their current account, exploring new lines of business, relocating, or pivoting between operational and functional roles. The Catering Manager is a leadership position responsible for all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the Seattle Convention Center, leading the Catering team to execute events and catering delivery requests according to customer expectations and service standards.

Requirements

  • Ideal applicants will graduate between December 2025 and August 2026
  • All degree requirements must be completed prior to the start of the program
  • Candidates with excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills
  • Candidates willing to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends or holidays
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Students with a degree or background in hospitality, business, culinary, food service, or facilities management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needs
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
  • Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
  • Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients’ needs
  • Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
  • Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
  • Responsible for delivering food and labor targets
  • Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management
  • Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
  • Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
