About The Position

Catering Event Servers are both the front line of our client experience and the behind-the-scenes team that makes it all possible. You will help turn a blank space into a full-service dining experience, then deliver hospitality that makes guests feel cared for and celebrated.
Requirements
- A positive attitude, clear communication, and an openness to learning new things.
- Reliable transportation to events throughout Harrisburg, Lancaster, and York
- Comfortable staying active on your feet throughout events and helping with lifting up to 25–50 lbs when needed
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, with some holiday shifts during our busiest times
- Black button-down shirt, plain black tie, black slacks, black socks, and black non-slip shoes
Nice To Haves
- Previous catering or fine dining experience is a plus, but not required
- ServSafe or bartending certifications are a bonus
Responsibilities
- Set the Stage: Help transform spaces into memorable event experiences. From table settings to service stations to staging back-of-house areas, you’ll help build the magic before guests arrive.
- Serve with Heart: Be the friendly face of hospitality as you serve food and drinks with a smile and attention to detail.
- Team Up: Work alongside people who have your back. Communicate, adapt, and problem-solve together to keep events running smoothly.
- Hospitality Standards: Represent JDK with professionalism, warmth, and a team-first attitude.
- Break It Down: At the end of the night, help reset the space and leave it better than we found it.
