About The Position

Join our team at Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace in Port Washington. We're seeking a Part-Time Catering Driver to support our busy Catering Department. In this role, you'll ensure our gourmet food is delivered quickly, safely, and professionally to our customers' locations - always maintaining the high-quality service Uncle Giuseppe's is known for. (A CDL is not required. A company SUV is provided for all catering deliveries.)

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of driving experience and at least 1 year of delivery experience
Valid NYS Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs (heavier items with assistance)
Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal driving regulations
Load, transport, and deliver catering orders; set up food and supplies at customer locations
Assist with in-store pick-ups, packaging orders, and preparing condiments and paper goods
Support off-premise events such as BBQs, omelet stations, weddings, and more (with pay differential)
Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery and event
Load and unload catering equipment and ensure vehicles are kept clean and organized
