About The Position

In the Catering Cook role, you will prepare, season, and cook food for banquet service.

Requirements

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Prior experience a plus but not required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Responsibilities

• Maintain the work area and equipment, in a clean and sanitary condition
• Have thorough knowledge of menus and the preparation required, according to established standards
• Prepare food for Banquets, following specifications on Banquet Event Orders
• Breakdown banquets and plated meals, storing food and equipment properly at the end of event
• Work banquet food station as scheduled by the catering chef
