Overview The Catering Barback supports bartenders during catered events by ensuring the bar area is fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently. This role is essential to delivering smooth beverage service at weddings, corporate events, and private functions. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This is a seasonal role from February 23, 2026 and will end on June 23, 2026. This role pays an hourly rate of $19.50 This position will remain open until April 17, 2026.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous barback, bar, or catering experience a plus
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs), including kegs, cases of beverages, and ice
  • Strong time-management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of bar equipment and beverage service basics preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for handling alcohol per local regulations

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down bar stations before and after catered events
  • Stock bars with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and supplies
  • Assist bartenders during service by replenishing items quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas throughout events
  • Change kegs, restock coolers, and refill ice as needed
  • Collect empty glassware and transport to dishwashing areas
  • Dispose of trash and recycling properly
  • Follow all alcohol service laws, safety guidelines, and company policies
  • Assist with general event support as needed by catering staff or supervisors
