About The Position

To drive a delivery vehicle for the purpose of delivering prepared foods from production kitchen to various sites following a predetermined schedule Load and unload containers, hot carts and utensils and make proper distribution Mains product rotation, product labeling and cleanliness of walk-ins and food storages areas

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
  • Must be able to use standard kitchen equipment correctly and safely. Chefs' knives, Convection ovens, meat and cheese slicing machines, steamers, mandolins, grills, and broilers
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for food preparation
  • Minimum experience in catering and/or events of 1 year
  • Must have knowledge of standard catering presentation techniques
  • Ability to use basic computer programs for inputting and organizing data and menus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Possess current SERV Safe or Food Handler certification or the ability to be certified immediately after hired
  • This role requires a valid Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, as operating a company vehicle is an essential responsibility in this position.
  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Requires the ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials
  • Requires the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach
  • Lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Work on their feet 8 hours per day excluding breaks
  • Work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard for up to 2 hours continuously
  • Deliver hot and cold food to on-campus sites using carts and vans
  • Use proper lifting skills when handling stock
  • Load and push a cart a short distance
  • All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This includes following safety protocols, maintaining environmental responsibility, and upholding quality standards in all tasks. Employees are expected to actively participate in HSEQ training and report any potential hazards or compliance concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day support of kitchen, front of the house, and pantry deliveries
  • Perform daily, on-time deliveries
  • Clean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior) daily
  • Maintain maintenance records and delivery log documentation
  • Perform pickup and drop-off of product inventory
  • Clean and safe work area
  • Workplace Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily
  • Food Safety guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily
  • HACCP guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily
  • All internal audit guidelines, policies, and SOPs are followed daily
