THE POSITION - Chef Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients Monitor stock and minimize wastage Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation THE PERSON - Chef Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery Current Blue Card, or ability to obtain Experience with cooking in bulk quantities Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety Passionate about healthy and nutritious food Basic baking and dessert making skills required The Position - Catering Assistant Assist the kitchen to prepare and present food and beverages Provide friendly customer service Fast paced environment Operate the till to take orders and process transactions Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices. The Person - Catering Assistant Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired Some experience with coffee making is advantageous Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain Have strong organisational skills Excels in high-pressure environments Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings Possesses hands on experience with POS systems Friendly, customer-oriented attitude Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time. Has Responsible Service of Alcohol RSA} or able to attain.

Requirements

• Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
