Catering Assistant
About The Position

At Medirest, we provide the non-medical services that keep Australia's healthcare facilities in top shape. We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to work at the Mercy Hospital for Women. You’ll work as part of our supportive catering team to ensure meal service of the hospital runs smoothly. At the same time, you'll be providing genuine care to the patients and visitors within the hospital. Permanent Part-Time Guaranteed 16 hours+ / fortnight Centrally located with transport options
Requirements
- Previous catering assistant experience
- Good communication skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Am outgoing personality with great communication skills
- A strong work ethic - willing to learn and be part of a fast-paced dynamic team
- NPC: holder of a National Police Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Responsibilities
- Food preparation with knowledge of food allergens
- Ensuring to follow all health and safety procedures
- Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager
- Maintain cleanliness and provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to customer
