JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Evening shift, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. This position requires driving a hospital vehicle to deliver meals to off-site locations. Summary of the Job: Responsible for the preparing food and setting up for, in-side and outside catered events. Adjusts schedule as needed to comply with catered events. Communicates politely and effectively with staff and customers. Assumes the role of customer advocate. Helps wherever and whenever needed during labor shortages to ensure that patient and customers have adequate food supplies. Identifies and resolves issues with HAACP compliance. Demonstrates a commitment to CARES when communicating to team, coworkers, and customers. Demonstrates a commitment to food safety HACCP and FIFO in all work activities and leads others to compliance. Responsible for and maintains equipment, cleanliness of kitchen, clean floors, breaking down boxes, etc. Cross-trains to work other food production worker positions.
