CATERING ASSISTANT
About The Position
Position Summary: The Catering Assistant provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times. Responsibilities include: setup and clean up of all catered functions, setup of patient coffee areas, and delivery of food and supplies to medical staff lounge. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines. Interacts with physicians, members of the Board of Directors, Administration, hospital staff, guests, and patients, while providing gracious and attentive services. May perform work in other areas of the department as needed.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and understand written schedules, menus, and meeting room request forms.
- Three years of experience required, preferably in catering or customer service in a full service restaurant, or equivalent combination of education and experience to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
