Auberle’s mission is to help build strong individuals, families, and communities. In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department. Program Description: Auberle provides quality catering services & food services for multiple internal & external events. The program also provides food boxes for those in need as part of our partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank for our region. The program also partners with the Auberle Employment Institute (work development program) to provide training / work experience for those individuals that are interested in the food service industry. Position Title and Overview: Currently seeking a part-time catering / food service staff for our program. Seeking an individual who has catering / food service experience with the applicable training and skill set. You would be responsible for preparing meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner for Auberle sites, internal events and external events based on the menus request for these meals & events. You will work alongside other team members to provide the above meals. Need to be available for 25-30 hours per week. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:00AM-1:00PM. The hours may vary at times depending on the days and times of events that we provide our services for. The position pays $17.50 per hour. Auberle will pay for SERV Safe training and testing if the applicant is need of this certification for food handlers. Location and Travel Requirements: This position is primarily located in Great Pittsburgh area. All positions are also expected to come to training, meetings, and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport, as scheduled. Requirements

  • Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
  • Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance may be required.
  • SERV Safe Certification for Food Handlers. Can obtain as part of employment.
