About The Position

A Catering and Sales Coordinator drives revenue by negotiating and booking food and beverage services for events, ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings. This role combines proactive sales with event planning, including menu creation, cost management, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure flawless execution.

Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Attending and executing special events outside regular business hours is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes projects in a timely and professional manner
• Provides clerical support, including faxing, filing, copying, and typing of letters/memos
• Ensures that appropriate Group Sales materials are always available, including sales kits, event menus, and signage
• Manages multiple projects concurrently
• Provides ready assistance to Group Sales management to ensure all catering services exceed guest expectations
• Manages the distribution of inquiries efficiently
• Fosters strong relationships with Group Sales managers and Operations
• Processes invoices on a timely basis
• Ensures that all figures are collected and entered into the Sales Comparison document and distributed promptly
