About The Position

Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Caterer. Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546 Schedule: Full time schedule. Must be available to work mornings, mid-day, evenings and weekends Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required. Pay Range: $16-$18 YOU'D MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR TEAM! Job Summary Catering staff works with the Catering Manager to manage the setup, service, and cleanup of events, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience required.
• Must be available to work mornings, mid-day, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Event Setup & Cleanup: Sets up event spaces according to the BEO (Banquet Event Order) and floor plans, including tables, chairs, linens, and buffet or service stations
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests at events, ensuring service excellence.
• Equipment Management: Ensure dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and properly stored.
• Customer Feedback: Report guest feedback to the supervisor, both positive and negative.
• Inventory Support: Assist with inventories and report maintenance needs or supply shortages.
• Deliveries & Off-Site Operations: Assists with loading and unloading vehicles for campus deliveries and ensures timely setup at a variety ocampus locations
• Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager
