A’BriTin operates four premiere catering brands and numerous event-planning venues, all of which are leaders in the industry. At A’BriTin, our Catering and Event Staff are essential to creating exceptional experiences for every client. As a MOS Caterer, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing events to life—preparing and presenting food, assisting with set-up and event logistics, serving guests, and ensuring every detail runs smoothly. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, remains calm under pressure, and can multitask with a positive, can-do attitude. This role requires physical stamina for lifting and transporting equipment, as well as flexibility to adapt to varying event needs. While our commercial kitchen is based in Farmington, MN, most events take place at venues throughout the state, typically within an hour’s drive of Farmington.
Requirements
- Working towards or having a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to be on feet/standing for long periods
- Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a can-do attitude
- Able to have reliable transportation to shifts at various venues and locations in MN
Nice To Haves
- Catering, Event services, Wedding Industry Experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, cleaning, and organizing catering/events equipment and items.
- Provide and serve food to clients and their guests
- Able to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Arrives to assigned work shifts on time in a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company attire standards
- Willing to carry and hold heavy objects such as chafers filled with food or bins of dirty dishes
- Ability to speak politely with clients and guests
- Willing to work in sometimes difficult conditions such as outdoors and in weather conditions
- Perform additional/other duties when needed or as required
