What You’ll Get to Do The Category Manager is focused on strategic sourcing and procurement for Transportation & Logistics, and reports to the Procurement Director . This role is perfect for an individual who is analytical, collaborative, and detail-oriented. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience, including 2+ years managing transportation and logistics category
  • Strong understanding of legal and contractual principles with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across organizational boundaries.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for the Transportation/Logistics category.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement support.
  • Lead procurement processes including RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance.
