Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field; SCMP, CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent designation preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience
  • Strong background in capital equipment, MRO, or industrial services
  • Experience in inventory management and optimization models
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier governance skills
  • Experience using Workday or similar ERP systems
  • Experience centralizing and managing North America wide multi location spends
  • Advanced internal and external stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in energy, utilities, construction, or asset-intensive industries preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing for tanks, parts, and technical services.
  • Develop supplier segmentation and long-term partnerships for critical assets.
  • Drive standardization of specifications and approved parts lists.
  • Partner with Operations, Safety, Finance, Inventory and Fixed Asset Strategy teams.
  • Manage supply risk, lead times, and capacity constraints.
  • Implement performance-based contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify cost-reduction and working capital opportunities.
  • Support inventory optimization and lifecycle planning initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
