As a category manager for Corporate Procurement, you'll oversee categories of spend and lead strategic sourcing activities for Financial Services, Treasury and Investment teams. You'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing and procurement plans for specific product or service categories, managing supplier relationships, driving cost reductions, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This role involves market research, negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, analyzing spend data, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize value and efficiency within their designated spend categories This is a hybrid role, which means you'll work in the office one day a week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of five years of experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years of procurement experience, specifically in sourcing financial services and managing suppliers performance.
  • Experience with vendor and contract management (ideally direct category management experience)
  • Working knowledge of the Coupa platform
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel - including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets - including v-look-up, tables, charts and graphing
