About The Position

We are seeking a Category Analyst who will be responsible for managing retailer and syndicated data, assisting in reset processes, and supporting routine communication and team organization. This role will require a strategic thinker with a deep sense of accountability and passion for retail strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business or marketing related fields.
  • Strong familiarity with space planning software such as JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo, or Spaceman.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and transform insights into action.
  • Project management experience and strong communication skills across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and leverage multiple data points to create retail strategies.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures, including IRI and digital category manager tools like Numerator.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in category management is a plus.
  • Experience in beer, wine, and spirits in a sales or category capacity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all retailer and syndicated data via Catalyst PowerBI.
  • Cleanse data from retailers in ShelfIQ and refresh Catalyst Data.
  • Update products, store lists, and captaincy in Catalyst Data Manager.
  • Assist with ad hoc and non-KPI account tasks, including cleansing planograms and loading Shelf Reporting Suites.
  • Prepare and present content for retailer meetings.
  • Produce monthly insights/newsletters and holiday insights.
  • Develop internal and external content for regular meetings and new hire training.
  • Submit best practices and monthly award submissions.
  • Organize presentations, content, and best practices on the Teams site.
  • Manage reset timelines and calendarize processes for all accounts.
  • Maintain a master file for all accounts with relevant information.
