The Category Analyst helps drive the development of national retail accounts by supporting sales growth strategies through insightful analytics and shopper insights that enable mutually beneficial growth plans. The ideal candidate will have an advanced working knowledge of all data sources and tools needed to complete and present category and brand development projects. These data sources and tools include syndicated scan data (IRI/Nielsen), retailer transaction and loyalty data, BI reporting, Scintilla, Numerator, and similar platforms. This position will be responsible for reporting, JDA space management support, and will serve as the primary Category Management resource. The role will work closely with the Category Development team, led by the Sr. Director of Category Development, as well as the Account Management team. It is primarily internally focused, with some limited customer-facing responsibilities.
