About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting category management and sales teams through data mining, reporting, and insights generation. The Category Analyst assists with analyzing syndicated data, developing sales tools, and assist in creating clear presentations that support fact-based decision making with internal partners and retailers.

Requirements

1-2+ years’ experience working with syndicated data and/or supporting retailer presentations, or equivalent analytical experience, bachelor’s degree preferred
Working knowledge of data extraction, manipulation, and basic analytical techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to build charts, tables, and presentations
Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs and trends
Ability to analyze complex data sets and distill findings into simple, actionable insights
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

General understanding of the beer category, syndicated data sources, and retail chains is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver category and sales analytic reports using syndicated data sources.
Develop, maintain, and update sales tools, dashboards, and scorecards to track performance.
Support category storytelling by translating data into clear, actionable insights.
Assist in preparation of customer-facing presentations and internal reporting materials.
Conduct data extraction, validation, and basic analysis to support business initiatives.
Participate in ad hoc analyses and cross-functional projects as assigned.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
