About The Position

Work Schedule : 100%, day shift. Monday – Friday; Hours ranging 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This is a hybrid position, working remotely with on-site requirements four times per year. You will work at Administrative Office Building in Middleton, WI when on-site. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Category Account Specialist to: Apply contract knowledge and strong attention to detail to review and redline agreements against UW Health’s Master Terms and Conditions and established contract playbook. Support contract managers within the procurement team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across UW Health to meet organizational needs for goods and services. Generate reports that support supply chain functions, including contract review metrics and supplier performance analysis. Independently monitor, analyze, and report on expiring System, GPO, and local site contracts to ensure timely renewals and continuity of services. Qualifications Associate's Degree in business management or related field Required Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Assistant/ Paralegal or related field Preferred Work Experience 2 years contract management, purchasing, commodities, supply chain or another relevant field. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in business management or related field Required
  • 2 years contract management, purchasing, commodities, supply chain or another relevant field. Required
  • Knowledge of contracts and procure-to-pay process Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Assistant/ Paralegal or related field Preferred
  • 5 years or more experience in contract management, purchasing Preferred
