About The Position

Under minimal supervision, inspect and pack literature.

Requirements

  • Daily interaction with production employees
  • Good mechanical skills and vision
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to use a calculator.
  • Able to clearly write worksheets.
  • Basic equipment operations skills.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and simple division.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
  • Excellent color perception. Must pass Titmus Color Perception test.

Responsibilities

  • Manual Handling Roll Lifters & skids.
  • Follows policies and procedures as set forth by management.
  • Completes an inspection worksheet for the function performed.
  • Checks folded literature against Quality Assurance approved samples.
  • Removes and disposes of any unacceptable or inferior printed literature.
  • Completes a daily log of all orders inspected.
  • Communicates with lead or supervisor on quality issues.
  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with good housekeeping, 5S practices and safety requirements.
  • Loads sheets onto stacker on folding equipment.
  • Replaces defective product and maintains proper counts.
  • Makes inner trays and outer boxes to pack finished products.
  • Performs in process quality check to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Follow cGMPs and completes all related paperwork.
  • Prepares shipping labels and applies to outer cartons.
  • Places completed boxes on pallets.
  • Assists Folding Technician in troubleshooting mechanical problems as needed.
  • Records status of orders and quantity of work completed.
  • Other tasks as requested by management.
  • Produce consistent high quality work.
  • Work in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Participate in team collaboration
