For more information, visit us at cornerstonebuildingbrands.co m JOB DETAILS Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM - Monday - Friday (Occasional Saturdays) Starting pay is $16.25 per hour with potential increases based on experience and skill. Plus $1.50 shift differential DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position facilitates staging, loading, and material handling used in the process of preparing steel fabrication product mix for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of loading techniques and have high attention to detail. Perform the required duties with the safety of self, fellow dock workers and the receiving parties in mind and quality as the top priority

  • Required to scan all products loaded into truck 100%
  • Report any safety or quality concerns to Supervisor or Plant Manager immediately
  • Unload and load trucks and trailers
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment
  • A minimum of one (1) year of forklift operation
  • Willingness to train, certify and operate forklift and overhead crane
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
  • Overhead crane experience is a plus
  • Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
