About The Position

The Causal Banquet Server sets up, serves, and cleans up for banquet breakfast, lunch, dinner, or for receptions. Perform other duties, as required.

Ability to: Follow established standards for attendance, dress, work procedures, hospitality and courtesy
Ability to: Work flexible days and hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to: Maintain standards listed below
Must have good reading and comprehensive skills
Must have tableside or banquet experience
Applicants must be 18 years of age according to Virginia A.B.C. Code § 4.1-307
Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the current Williamsburg James City County food handler's card and TIPS® certification; applicants with an active card and certification should be prepared to present both during the interview process
Maintain an upbeat attitude and a positive, enthusiastic mindset
Greet guests, employees, managers, and supervisors with a warm smile and friendly demeanor
Always treat everyone with respect and work cooperatively with all colleagues and management
Report to work as scheduled and on time
Adhere to established uniform and appearance policies
Perform assigned tasks accurately and on time
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Lifting trays weighing up to 50 pounds
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Standing for long periods of time
