About The Position

The Castling Production Technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality die cast products to our customers. In this hands-on position, you’ll support casting die and trim press setups, changeovers, and sleeve changes while working closely with Group Leads to keep production running efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license (or ability to obtain)
• At least 1 year of experience in casting and/or trim operations
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork
• Applicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Responsibilities

• Support casting die press setups, changeovers, and sleeve changes to ensure smooth production starts
• Prepare and verify that production cells are fully set up and ready to run
• Assist with troubleshooting die issues and preparing tool carts to meet customer quality requirements
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, including monitoring fluid levels, media, tools, and supplies
• Work alongside Group Leads and Trim Leads to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
• Provide floor support as needed, including coverage for breaks and lunches
• Help maintain an organized, efficient production environment
• Actively promote a safe workplace by participating in safety audits and leading by example
• Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed
