Casino Host: A casino host is a hospitality specialist dedicated to elevating the guest experience on the gaming floor. Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere for all casino customers. Greets guests in pit and slot areas and assists in issuing complementaries. Obtains information on new players, forwards information to service desk to create player cards and maintains their player base. Makes follow-up contact to insure return of business with new and inactive customers. Performs other related duties as assigned. This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license as required by N.J.A.C. 19:41-1.1(b)5 and N.J.A.C. 19:45-1.9B.
