About The Position

Casino Administration Assistant will play a crucial part in supporting the administrative functions of the casino, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the gaming and entertainment industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or a related field is a plus
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a casino or hospitality setting
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment with high call volume
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Written communication skills in English may also be required.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to the casino management team
  • Maintain and organize paperwork, records, and documents
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Stay informed about gaming regulations and ensure that the casino operates within legal parameters
  • Assist in preparing and submitting required reports to regulatory authorities
  • Serve as a point of contact between various departments within the casino
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and vendors
  • Input and manage data related to casino operations
  • Assist in generating reports and analysis as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in basic financial tasks, such as tracking expenses and preparing financial reports
  • Work closely with the finance department to ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Support the planning and execution of casino events and promotions
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless event coordination
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
