Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including making credit transactions and serving alcoholic beverages. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities. Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to bend, sit, stand or walk for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Performs customer service functions by answering guest questions.
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
- Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
- Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds.
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Observes customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions.
- Replenishes coffee, other beverages, snacks and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory.
- Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
- Helps with certain food prep tasks such as dressing a food item based on customer specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
