About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will be responsible for crafting quality customer experiences by providing efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane. This role involves utilizing technology to complete activities and tasks, handling money responsibly, and maintaining accuracy of point of sale purchases. You are expected to create positive and lasting impacts on customers through friendly interactions, good eye contact, and appropriate handling of customer questions, ultimately building trustful relationships to encourage return visits. Requirements

18 years of age or older.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Desire to work with customers.
Good verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Friendly outgoing attitude.
Ability to operate cashier register system.
Shift Availability: 6AM - 12AM Friday, Saturday & Sunday Availability is Mandatory

Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
