About The Position

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Work the register in the hospital cafeteria and provide excellent service to all guests. Maintain a clean and organized environment to ensure that food is presented properly and the cafe is ready for service in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Nice To Haves

• Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Cater to all customer needs and treat every customer with respect, friendliness, and a smile
• Balance the cash drawer and discuss discrepancies with management
• Stock and monitor supply levels of condiments, utensils, and grab-and-go items
• Monitor temperatures for the tray line and maintain temperature logs
• Keep the cafeteria clean and organized at all times, including emptying the trash can
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean to maintain floor and high-traffic areas
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
