About The Position
The cashier will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Our service and parts department has grown and needs another energetic people with strong people skills to take care of our service and parts customers!
Requirements
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills (required)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail sales is (preferred)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Understand and process checks for payment
- Train and learn on Clover electric pay system along with gift card acceptance
- Have consistent attention to detail to ensure invoices are processed accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Process returns and credits thru computer system
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Scan documents into our dealership management system
- Alert and able to assist customers at any time with parts inquires and transactions
- Maintain customer lounge area and clean and restock as needed
