About The Position
Job Description : We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our dynamic retail team. The Cashier will be the face of our store, responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle cash and electronic payments securely
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is advantageous.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle electronic payment systems.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the checkout.
- Accurately scan and process customer purchases using the cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy and security.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to ensure a pleasant environment.
- Answer customer questions regarding prices, merchandise, and store policies.
