About The Position
Mom & Pops is a well-established quick-service grill and convenience store. A longtime local favorite, the store is known for its made-to-order meals, friendly service, and consistent quality. We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to support daily store operations, ensure accurate transactions, and contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- Ability to work afternoons/evenings (1pm-9pm).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Receive payments by cash or credit card.
- Accurately count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
- Stock and replenish merchandise as needed.
- Assist with inventory control and proper rotation of perishable items.
- Answer customer questions and provide helpful, friendly service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
