Requirements

Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Receive cash, check and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received.
Close the customer's repair order (used as customer's bill) using computer system.
Make change, cash checks, and issue receipts to customers.
Prepare daily sales report to ascertain and record totals shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand.
Answer telephones and contact customers when necessary.
Maintain service related correspondence and files.
Refer customers who have additional questions (e.g., questions about their repair order) to the service advisor or other appropriate individual.
Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the customer to the appropriate individual for further communication.
Utilize two-way radio and/or intercom to communicate with sales and service employees when necessary.
Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace and notify management of any unsafe working conditions.
Maintain strict confidentiality of confidential personal information of our customers in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule, implementing the provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act as they pertain to automobile dealerships and adhere to all other company rules, policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.
