About The Position

The Complex is a live music venue in Downtown Salt Lake City. Established in 2010, The Complex has hosted some of the biggest acts in the world from all music genres like Billie Eilish, Billy Idol, Slayer, Travis Scott and Vampire Weekend to name a few. At The Complex, there are 5 separate venues able to produce live music events; indoor venues: Rockwell, The Grand, Vertigo and Papa Wolf’s and outdoor venue: The Lot.  The Concession Cashier is one of the first interactions our clients and guests will interface with – we are looking for the best!  Ensuring a friendly smile, efficiency, and accuracy is what this ideal candidate will have each day while remember to follow Aramark’s Alcohol and Food Safety procedures.  This employee will have the ability to work holidays, nights and/or weekends. This position is considered an Hourly/Part-Time Employee

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older (Required)
  • Previous customer service experience (Required)
  • Utah Food Handler’s card (required)
  • Basic math and counting skills (Required)
  • Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills
  • Willingness to accept change and new procedures
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Valid alcohol training meeting Utah requirements (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Accurately operate a register/ Point of sale (POS) and handle credit card and other digital transactions
  • Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
  • Assists in setting up, maintaining and tearing-down a concession stand; i.e. cleaning, dishes, food prep
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours
  • Always maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift
  • Ensure product at assigned location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as need
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including the checking of patron’s valid identification
  • Maintains excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Accepts constructive feedback and provides ideas, concerns to and from leadership
