About The Position

We’re looking for a full-time Cashier who takes pride in making every guest’s experience satisfying. The ideal candidate will have customer service and cashiering experience in a fast-paced work environment and have a positive attitude. Schedule: Will vary depending on business: the store is open from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Monday - Sunday; must have weekend availability

Requirements

Candidates must be 16 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
Use basic PC knowledge
Utilize good math skills
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Maintain a high level of organization with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Greeting customers when entering and/or leaving the store
Cross selling products and introducing new products
Scanning items and making sure the price is accurate
Learning to identify bakery items and ringing them correctly
Collecting cash payments and making accurate change
Processing credit or check payments
Providing receipts
Processing refunds
Maintaining a clean work area and equipment
Assisting with other duties as assigned
