About The Position

Serve as a key part of the game-day team at PNC Field by providing a fast, friendly, and accurate point-of-sale service for fans purchasing food, beverages, or merchandise during RailRiders events. This role focuses on efficiently processing transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining a balanced register, and delivering excellent guest service in a lively, high-volume sports environment.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or guest services experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a cheerful outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in fast-paced, dynamic, or stressful situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Flexibility to adjust to last-minute changes and operational needs.
  • Proficiency with computers and tablets; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, sun exposure, and other outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in loud, crowded environments
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in live entertainment, sports, or hospitality settings is an asset.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner.
  • Process high-volume transactions quickly and accurately using POS systems.
  • Handle cash, credit, debit, and electronic payments in a fast-paced transaction.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or credits as needed.
  • Provide guests with information about menu items, promotions, or venue policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations and surrounding areas.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with stadium policies and guest safety regulations.
  • Work properly with team members and supervisors.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and security.
  • Comply with food safety, alcohol service and venue regulations.
  • Verify age and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines when required.
