About The Position

Ed Martin Automotive Group is looking to add Cashiers to our growing team. Ideal candidates will have prior cash handling, Point of Sale and understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting practices. Cashiers are responsible for receiving and recording accurate payments from customers and ensuring they have a great experience during the process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Basic accounting skills
• Professional personal appearance

Responsibilities

• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customer
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Other clerical duties as assigned
