About The Position
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Cashier who can keep the checkout line moving and customers smiling. You’ll be the final stop in the customer experience, so accuracy, a good attitude, and basic math skills are key. If you can scan items, handle payments, and say “have a great day” like you mean it, you’re already halfway there.
Requirements
- Friendly, dependable, and able to stay calm during busy times
- Comfortable handling money and basic transactions
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn (we’ll teach you the rest)
Nice To Haves
- Can make small talk without it being painful
- Don’t panic when the line gets long
- Know where at least one thing in the store is located
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and ring up purchases quickly and accurately
- Handle cash, cards, and the occasional “this coupon should work” situation
- Keep your register area clean, organized, and stocked
- Answer basic questions or point customers in the right direction
- Work as part of a team to keep things running smoothly
