Requirements

  • LOVE for the restaurant industry

  • Ability to safely utilize a variety of kitchen tools and machinery
  • Ability to handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions with accuracy
  • Ability to serve all guests to high standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be highly organized
  • Ability to clean and maintain a safe work environment
  • Ability to uphold company policies
  • Ability to contribute to a fun and lively atmosphere
  • Counter Service Staff who are 19 or older must have a valid alcohol server certification (e.g., TIPS).

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact
  • Provide outstanding hospitality and service to all guests
  • Maintain solid product knowledge to answer questions and make order suggestions
  • Complete daily prep tasks given
  • Set up and maintain a clean workstation and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Take food orders, enter order information into the point-of-sale terminal, and process payments accurately
  • Prepare recipes by following strict guidelines and portioning techniques
  • Promptly prepare food within company time standards
  • Assist in stocking and cleaning throughout the shift
  • Constantly monitor and maintain food standards for recipe production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety
  • Handle guest concerns and special requests by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
  • Constantly move throughout the kitchen and restaurant
  • Assist with bussing and resetting tables
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
  • Assist with every facet of front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience
  • Assist in stocking, dish upkeep, and general cleaning
  • Take out trash and boxes
  • Support team members including leadership
  • Execute effective communication skills
  • Exude positive attitude under stress
  • Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
  • Ability to execute follow-through
