Join us at Inland Kenworth and go ALL IN on a career that has it all. THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Cashier at our flagship Phoenix, Arizona area sales and service dealership. As Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers and receiving payments for services sold by the dealership. In addition, you will act as back-up receptionist and answer and direct calls as needed. This position is located at our sales and service dealership location in Tolleson, AZ.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)required
One year’ related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Great telephone manner and ability to represent the company well with excellent customer relations skills
Dependable, reliable, and able to commit to the work hours for the position

Responsibilities

Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
Receives customer payments in person or over the phone.
Receives cash and handles cash drawer with accuracy.
Runs credit and debit card machine.
Keeps track of signatures, phone authorizations, etc. for customers’ credit card payments (day cashier).
Balances cash, checks, credit card payments and debit card payments daily (day cashier).
Prepares daily bank deposits.
Prepares day sheets.
Arranges courier pickups.
Maintains professional appearance and neat work areas.
Answers calls on multi-line telephone system.
Greets visitors and directs them.
Arranges courier pickups.
