About The Position

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has excellent openings for Cashier at The Greek Theatre . Responsible for the overall accurate accounting of all transactions, including inventory. Please note that Greek Theatre Food and Beverage employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and a condition of employment is union membership.

Requirements

Must be 21 to apply.
Received High school diploma or GED.
Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
Basic math skills
Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
Work ethics encourage strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
Ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
Attention to detail.
Must have current ServeSafe certification.
Must have RBS through California Alcohol Beverage Control.
Must have current TIPs certification.
Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.
Must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation.
Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and employees
Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. to the waist.

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate accounting of all payments and inventory on assigned concession stand.
Performs location worker assignments.
Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.
Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.
Plans for peak hour sales and make change requirements known to the Concession Supervisor and/or F&B Manager.
Organizes all cashier paperwork including physical inventory stand sheets, meal sheets, spoilage reports, cash slips, and other related.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with California laws and regulations as well as Company policies and procedures.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently by wearing the proper uniform. (NO Yoga pants, No Jeans or leggings) must wear ALL BLACK slip resistant shoes and black casual pants.
Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods and garnishes for all entrees
Verifies the proper item prices to the menu and reports any discrepancies.
Stocks and restocks product upon delivery to location.
Monitors the proper recording of employees’ meals and meal vouchers, if applicable.
Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage Department.
Compliance with ALL ABC Laws and policies.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Comply with transfer and requisition, payment handling and purchasing policies and procedures.
Performs other location duties as assigned.
Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
